At Exelitas Technologies (formerly Phoseon Technology, USA), there are UV-LED products that have been in operation for over 8 years in the lab. Approximately 50 units of products from several generations ago continue to operate, all maintaining an illuminance of over 85% of the specifications. Phoseon’s UV-LED for ultraviolet curing is used for curing coating materials for optical fibers and as a replacement for mercury lamps.
